Cyber Security Engineer – Security Operations (m/w/d) at Sopra Steria in Munich, Germany.
Role Summary
- In this role, you will work with a clear operational focus on core cybersecurity services in an aerospace environment
- With stability and security in mind, you support the ongoing operation of security-critical solutions and services
- Depending on the project phase and customer situation, you will accompany the transition of new solutions into operation or their introduction
- You will gain deep insights into the real security requirements of large organizations and take on responsibility for day-to-day business at an early stage
Consulting means flexibility: Your project assignment depends on our customers and your project situation - you work throughout Germany in our offices, at the customer's site and from home
Requirements
- You have a degree in (business) computer science, mathematics, cyber security, economics or a comparable course of study
- You have a solid basic understanding of IT systems and cyber security, especially vulnerability management
- Ideally, you have already acquired initial knowledge of endpoint security, detection and response
- You demonstrate a good understanding of vulnerabilities and their assessment (e.g. CVE, CVSS)
- You are characterized by a structured, reliable and careful way of working
- You demonstrate a high willingness to work operationally with technical systems and take responsibility in day-to-day business
- Good knowledge of German and English (at least B2) rounds off your profile
