Convention Technician AV - On Call

Role Summary

Responsible for the successful installation, operation, and maintenance of audio visual systems.

Job Functions

Coordinate all audio visual requirements for incoming events.

Set up and operate audio visual systems for events.

Maintain audio visual equipment and related systems.

Maintain inventory, notify Catering Manager of needed supplies.

Assist convention services with room turnaround as needed.

Requirements

Job Specifications

• One (1) year of experience in a similar position preferred.
• Must be thoroughly knowledgeable and skilled in the mechanics of a variety of audio and visual systems.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of stage lighting, audio/visual systems, stage rigging, and stage carpentry.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
• Must valid state driver license
