Role Summary
As a Control Room Supervisor you have a responsible and versatile position in which you maintain an overview and direct. You are not only involved in creating reports and analyses, but you also fulfill an important representative role: you are often one of the first security guards to meet a visitor. This makes you the calling card of the organization and you ensure a professional and hospitable reception within strict safety frameworks.
In this role you are a jack of all trades. One moment you register visitors and answer questions, the next moment you direct responders to an alarm or make independent decisions in case of incidents. You keep a complete overview of what is happening in and around the building and intervene where necessary.
As a Control Room Supervisor you are constantly alert to risks and abnormal situations. You know when to escalate, recognize suspicious situations and act proactively to ensure safety. You also analyze security processes and translate these into clear reports and insights for the customer. You prepare these reports and analyzes daily in the English language, so that the customer gains optimal insight into the ins and outs of security within the data center.
Control Room Supervisors are present on location 24/7 and act as supervisors. You monitor camera images, coordinate actions and direct colleagues where necessary. Although the procedures and guidelines are clear, no day is the same. It is precisely this combination of clear frameworks and unexpected situations that makes the work dynamic and challenging.
