Contract Manager European Institutions

Role Summary

• As a Contract Manager you are ultimately responsible for:
• the daily management of operations within a critical and regulated environment
• managing a large operational organization (up to 250–300 employees)
• ensuring quality, safety and compliance
• maintaining a strong and professional relationship with the customer

Languages

Good knowledge of French and English

Knowledge of Dutch is a strong plus

Responsibilities

• Operational management
• You guarantee efficient and quality service
• You monitor compliance with strict safety and compliance requirements
• You optimize processes and monitor operational performance
• People management
• You manage a large group of employees through first line management
• You are responsible for personnel planning, coaching and development
• You stimulate engagement, retention and team performance
• Financial management
• You manage an important budget (± 7.5 – 15 million euros)
• You follow up the P&L and make adjustments where necessary
• You analyze results and optimize efficiency and costs
• Customer relationship
• You are the central point of contact for the customer
• You develop a sustainable and professional collaboration
• You follow up on contractual agreements (extensions, adjustments, price revisions)
• Social relations & administration
• You maintain a constructive dialogue with social partners
• You ensure correct administration, quality and invoicing

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master, or equivalent through experience
• Min. 2–3 years of experience in a leadership role within an operational environment
• Experience in managing large teams is a strong plus
• Affinity with security or a regulated environment is an asset

In this role you are responsible for the complete management of services within a complex and highly secured environment. You combine operational management, people management, financial follow-up and customer relationship management, and ensure that all activities are conducted according to the highest quality and compliance standards.
