Role Summary

Workplace: Chuquicamata Division, Calama, with administrative coordination from the contractor's offices and execution of field activities in the Foundry Management.

Lead the comprehensive administration of the contract and the execution of the service.

Coordinate the planning and programming of measurement campaigns with Codelco.

Monitor compliance with deadlines, quality standards and contract deliverables.

Manage the technical and administrative relationship with the Codelco Contract Administrator.

Coordinate human resources, equipment, permits and logistics for the execution of the work.

Review, validate and approve technical reports before delivery to the client.

Ensure compliance with Safety, Occupational Health, Environment and Quality requirements throughout the execution of the service.

Maintain documentary control and official communications through the Digital Work Book (LOD).

Manage payment statuses, contractual documentation and follow-up on findings and corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with the technical, administrative and contractual obligations established in the Technical Bases.

Requirements

We are looking to incorporate a Contract Administrator for the execution of the isokinetic and opacity measurements service.

Professional title of Civil Engineer or Execution Engineer related to the service (Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, Metallurgical or equivalent career). Specialty with 6 years of general experience (résumé), with at least 3 years of experience in contract administration and proven experience in environmental measurements.

  • Proven experience in administration of service contracts for large mining.
  • Experience in coordinating environmental monitoring services and emissions measurements in fixed sources.
  • Knowledge of applicable environmental regulations (Methods CH-5, CH-29, EPA-9 and SMA regulations).
  • Experience in safety, quality management and compliance with divisional procedures.
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate activities with the client.
  • Availability to work in the Chuquicamata Division, with presence on the ground when required.
  • Management of documentary control, preparation of technical reports and contractual administration.
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of the Digital Work Book (LOD) and management of Codelco contracts is desirable.
