Consulting Manager - Operations Excellence - Lyon

Role Summary

Attached to Sopra Steria Next, you will join the Conseil Lyon agency as a Manager to support the digital transformation of our clients. The Lyon Consulting practice has around forty employees, working in the Auvergne Rhône Alpes basin: Lyon, Clermont Ferrand, Grenoble, Annecy). We support our clients' managers in their digital transformation projects and programs, particularly around 3 major themes: IT Advisory (particularly on data governance and AI), digitalization of the supply chain and support for human capital.

Responsibilities

You will support our clients in the development and implementation of digital transformation plans for their operations, Supply Chain and manufacturing and will have the following missions:

• Construction of a strategic plan and Supply Chain digital roadmap
• The definition and/or optimization of operations to respond to new internal and external challenges based on good business practices;
• Structuring and framing Operations/Supply Chain transformation programs by defining objectives, needs, actions to be carried out, and project risks.
• Identify digital opportunities to improve the performance of customer operations, by mastering the use cases of mature technologies;
• Implement, monitor and lead projects in conjunction with customer and internal teams;
• Ensure technological monitoring regarding the evolution of concepts, tools and performance indicators.
• Support operational teams in adopting the new digital environment and changing practices;
• Contribute to strengthening the team’s skills
• Manage and support employees under your responsibility in the quality of their production on mission

• Lean Six Sigma Methods, Agility, Change Management
• Close collaboration with the digital and data experts of the Sopra Steria group

Requirements

• You have at least 8 years of experience within a consulting firm or in project management in the field of Supply Chain (S&OP, DDMRP, logistics, transport, production management) or operations
• You have experience in Industry 4.0 / 4D planning, scaling up operations
• You have knowledge of process-oriented sectors, whether in industry, production infrastructure management or services, including public;
• You have a good command of English.

You have Lean 6σ Green Belt certification

• A CSCP, CPIM, CPSM or Lean 6σ Black Belt certification is a plus!
• Graduate of a Business, Engineering or University school, Master 2 level or higher, you have an IT background and an appetite for new technologies.
• Autonomous, dynamic, empathetic, proactive, attentive, and results-oriented. Your excellent interpersonal skills allow you to be comfortable with different people.
• You are used to working in a team, sometimes in international contexts
• You have management experience in a consulting or internal business environment
• You have a commercial development capacity, in line with the growth objectives of Sopra Steria Next in Auvergne Rhone Alpes
