Role Summary
IT strategy in the public sector means preparing viable decisions under political, organizational and technical conditions.
In this role, you are responsible for the development of IT strategies and target architectures that reduce complexity, enable control and ensure realistic implementation.
You analyze professional, organizational and technical requirements in customer and multi-customer projects in the public sector and derive prioritized areas of action from them
On this basis, you will develop reliable IT strategies and target images that serve as a basis for decision-making for management and departments
Within the framework of established enterprise architecture management methods, you will work on issues at the respective architectural levels and design consistent target architectures
You will identify, classify and, if necessary, integrate new technologies and digital products into existing IT strategies and architectures in a structured manner
You actively involve relevant stakeholders in the architecture and decision-making process and guide them through complex issues in an appropriate manner
You present complex issues clearly, structured and convincingly - with a view to decision-making, control and feasibility
Consulting means flexibility: Your project assignment depends on our customers and your project situation - you work throughout Germany in our offices, at the customer's site and from home
Requirements
- You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, mathematics, natural sciences, technology (MINT) or a comparable qualification
- You are interested in IT strategies and their implementation in practice and ideally have initial experience in strategic IT projects or in the development of target images
- You are characterized by analytical thinking skills and strong communication skills, especially when it comes to presenting complex issues in an appropriate manner
- You have initial practical experience in dealing with applications and technology stacks in an enterprise environment
- Basics in the area of enterprise architecture management are part of your professional skills
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture management as well as a basic understanding of common EAM tools (e.g. AdoIT, HOPEX, LeanIX) and/or corresponding certifications such as iSAQB or TOGAF are an advantage
- Very good knowledge of German (from C1 level) and good knowledge of English round off your profile
