Confirmed QA Engineer

Role Summary

Position objectives / Mission

Within the Quality team, you participate in the validation of products and services by guaranteeing their compliance with functional requirements and quality standards. You are involved in the entire test cycle, from needs analysis to final validation of deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Job description / Main activities
• Analyze functional and technical specifications.
• Design and execute test campaigns.
• Write and maintain test scenarios and cases.
• Identify, report and track anomalies until resolved.
• Participate in functional recipes and business validations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Collaborate closely with the Product, Development and Support teams.
• Ensure reporting of testing activities and quality indicators.

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.

Technical skills

• Good command of software testing methodologies.
• Experience writing and executing functional tests.
• Knowledge of anomaly management and test monitoring tools (Jira, Xray, ALM, etc.).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience in test automation is a plus.

• Excellent sense of communication and teamwork.
• Analytical skills and critical thinking.
• Rigor, autonomy and sense of organization.
• Strength of proposal and quality orientation.

Appreciated assets

• Knowledge of the RGAA (General Framework for Improvement of Accessibility).
• ISTQB Foundation certification or higher.
• Sensitivity to accessibility and user experience best practices.
• Experience in projects with a strong functional or regulatory component.
