Role Summary
Context
Soprahr is looking for a versatile profile capable of working on the management of containerized infrastructures, the automation of platforms and the industrialization of deployments.
The position covers OpenShift and OKD environments, deployed on AWS or VMware vSphere, as well as the design of Helm Charts and the evolution of CI/CD chains.
Responsibilities
DevOps infrastructure management
- Administer and scale OpenShift, OKD and Kubernetes environments on AWS and VMware vSphere.
- Automate platforms with Infrastructure as Code and GitOps practices.
- Ensure their availability, security and observability.
Deployment and automation
- Design and maintain the Helm Charts necessary for the deployment of applications.
- Administer associated components including ArgoCD, registries, secrets, storage and networking.
- Automate the configuration, deployment and operation of platforms.
Industrialization and support
- Standardize build, configuration, and deployment methods.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
- Document solutions and support application teams.
Requirements
Technical skills sought
Essential skills
- Administration of Kubernetes, OpenShift or OKD.
- Experience with AWS and/or VMware vSphere infrastructures.
- Mastery of Helm and the development of Helm Charts.
- Knowledge of GitOps, ArgoCD, Git and YAML.
- Mastery of OCI/Docker containers and CI/CD chains.
- Scripting and automation skills with Bash, Python, Groovy or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of network issues, storage, certificates and secrets management.
Valued skills
- Terraform, Ansible or equivalent Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Tekton, Jenkins or Bamboo.
- Bitbucket and Nexus.
- Management of CRDs and Kubernetes operators.
- Kubernetes security: RBAC, secrets, certificates and network policies.
- Observability: logs, metrics, alerts and supervision.
Profile sought
- Bac+5 training in IT, systems or infrastructure, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a DevOps, Kubernetes or Platform Engineering environment.
- Ability to administer infrastructures and automate their operation autonomously
- Good understanding of application construction and deployment chains.
- Autonomy, rigor, analytical capacity and taste for automation.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with R&D, infrastructure, production and support teams.
