Role Summary
As an engineer in the field of digital design of micro-electronic systems, you are integrated into a design team that works for the development of IPs, subsystems and integrated circuits (SoC/ASIC) in the automotive sector.
This position is based in Sophia-Antipolis in the semiconductor division of Bosch (Mobility Electronics).
Your expertise in the field of SoC/ASIC digital design design therefore leads you to carry out several types of activities:
The development of subsystems and SoC/ASICs with a focus on the integration of digital and analog IPs.
The development of system functionalities in the form of RTL IP.
Monitoring and supporting your developments with functional verification, physical implementation, validation and silicon testing teams and/or external customers.
Participation in project planning and development monitoring.
In close collaboration with the architecture and implementation team, you will manage subjects such as hard macro design partitioning, the power concept with the aim of optimizing performance/consumption/surface area, and compliance with Safety constraints.
Participation in the continuous improvement of design flows and their automation and support.
Requirements
We are looking for a profile with the following characteristics and qualities:
- Solid experience in SoC or ASIC development in the automotive sector.
- Good knowledge of multi-processor system architectures (ARM/RISC V).
- Mastery of bus architectures (APB, AHB, AXI) and interconnects (NoC).
- Good knowledge of memory controllers (DDR, Flash/RAM).
- Good knowledge of communication devices (xSPI, I2C, Ethernet, PCIe, CAN, LIN).
- Perfect mastery of Verilog and VHDL description language.
- Perfect mastery of digital design flow (RTL to Netlist prelayout) and writing constraints (SDC/UPF).
- A very good understanding of the physical implementation of your RTL models.
- Development experience respecting the ISO26262 standard.
- Mastery of scripting languages (Python, Tcl).
- Knowledge of the IPXACT standard is a plus.
- Perfect command of English.
- You like working in a team, are curious and dynamic.

Description of the division
Leader on the global market, the “Mobility Electronics” division develops and markets electronic systems (ECU), as well as integrated circuits used in these systems.
These semiconductors cover different areas of the automotive market, ranging from sensors to complex System On Chip for driver assistance systems.
The Sophia-Antipolis site is an R&D center whose focus is on the development of complex SoCs in advanced technological nodes.
