Role Summary
We are looking for a professional with solid technical-commercial experience in the mining industry, focused on business development, technical advice in the field and strategic account management. You will be responsible for serving mining clients, beneficiation plants and projects in the Sonora-Northwest region, ensuring sustained sales growth through technical solutions and long-term relationships.
Desirable experience in
Reagents or inputs for mining processes
Flotation, grinding, leaching and/or materials handling
Ability to carry out technical visits, surveys and recommendations in the field.
Identification of the core of purchasing power in mining clients (operations, maintenance, purchases, metallurgy).
Management of CRM, Excel, PowerPoint and commercial monitoring tools.
Skills and Competencies
Technical-commercial profile with strong results orientation.
Ability to develop trusting relationships with technical and operational clients.
Prospecting, negotiation and opportunity closing skills.
Effective communication and presentation of technical solutions.
Organization and simultaneous management of multiple accounts and projects.
Autonomy, discipline and focus on operational safety.
Others
Residence or availability to reside in Hermosillo, Sonora.
Availability to travel frequently to mining sites within Sonora and nearby regions.
Requirements
Academic Training
- Mining and Metallurgy Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related career.
- Additional training in mining processes, reagents, materials or technical sales is desirable.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical-commercial sales within the mining sector.
- Experience serving mines, benefit plants, metallurgical processes and industrial clients.
- Account development, on-site technical monitoring and commercial growth in the region.
- Experience in coordination with technical areas, operations and logistics.
Specific Knowledge
Knowledge of mining processes and operation of benefit plants.
