Role Summary
Primary Responsibility
Management of screen printing, flexography, heat stamping machines between 1 and 5 colors on Nylon and Polyester fabric substrates.
Comply with production according to assigned orders, guaranteeing delivery dates.
Take the production order, technical sheet and material, depending on the delivery day, verifying that the order information meets the required specifications.
Comply with the correct completion of the “Time analysis control” format
Carry out the respective assembly on the machine, verifying that it is in accordance with the specifications, preferably second-hand to reduce waste.
Depending on the photopolymer, mount 1 or more lines (rolls).
Thread material, verifying in the technical sheet whether or not it should be put through the drying oven.
Find the inks to use, assemble them or the photopolymer depending on the label to be made.
Adjust the pressures in the printing.
Test the machine, carrying out continuous review of supplies and raw materials.
Program the counters.
Prepare the production sample and attach it to the production order to make the start approval.
Mark the finished product with its respective traceability.
Execute the production order minimizing waste as much as possible.
Separate the finished product in the assigned area for subsequent cutting or folding.
Carry out the respective cleaning of the machine, verifying all its parts are in good condition, clean the oven, tension rubbers, inkwells, photopolymers, change the needles of the filleting machine.
Guarantee optimal quality in production based on the technical sheet.
Provide the necessary information so that the colleague who receives a shift continues with the production processes.
Report and fill out the forms for when there is damage to the machine and warrants the support of the people in charge of maintenance.
Keep the workplace and common areas of the plant clean and organized every day according to the assigned shifts.
Requirements
Minimum education: Bachelor/Technician in graphic arts
- Schedules: Rotating shifts from Monday to Saturday (6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.) or 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with availability to work on Saturdays overtime.
- Experience: Minimum completion of 1 year in graphic arts.
Benefits
