Role Summary
Carry out routine collection and sampling at Eurofins, using appropriate equipment and carrying out necessary measurements and records at the sampling site, respecting the safety, health and environmental standards established by the company and customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare material for collection from customers receiving this service;
- Fill out the guide/chain of custody with necessary information during sample collection;
- Collect samples using appropriate equipment;
- Measure and record the temperature of samples that require specific packaging conditions, when applicable;
- Carry out necessary measurements at the sampling site (e.g. temperature, pH and other required parameters);
- Monitor environmental conditions relevant to the type of service, when necessary;
- Deliver the collected samples to the laboratories;
- Carry out collections or deliveries of sampling materials (e.g. bottle shop) to customers;
- Store countertests in the laboratory, when necessary;
- Act in accordance with safety, health and environmental standards established by the company and/or customers;
- Keep yourself presentable, respecting company rules. This care must extend to cars and equipment;
- Perform (or request) maintenance on equipment and utensils used in sampling;
- Drive a company vehicle to travel to the customer's premises, where the sampling procedure will be carried out;
- Fill out an electronic spreadsheet with information on the samples collected, when necessary;
Perform other related activities, as necessary, or at the discretion of your superior.
Requirements
- Commitment, good communication and interpersonal relationships, organization, discipline, pro-activity, dynamism, punctuality, flexibility and agility.
- Complete high school.
- Technical course is an advantage.
- Sampling techniques for different matrices (as required by the contracting unit), knowledge of safety standards and use of PPE, handling of glassware and equipment.
- It is essential to have a driver's license
- Microsoft Office (Excel).
