Role Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner/Porter for evening shifts in Saskatoon, Canada. Join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our clients and staff, with a focus on detailed cleaning operations in administrative and passenger areas.
- Perform thorough and detailed cleaning of the admin office area, including all surfaces, fixtures, and equipment
- Clean and maintain the hold room area, ensuring it meets high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Wipe down tables and chairs throughout assigned areas after each flight departure
- Sweep carpets comprehensively following each flight departure to remove debris and maintain appearance
- Dust window ledges end to end in all assigned areas
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in common spaces and office areas
- Empty trash bins and replace liners regularly
- Dust and wipe surfaces, including desks, equipment, and other fixtures
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed
- Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs or reporting repair needs
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored
- Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment
- Assist with setup and breakdown of meeting rooms or event spaces as needed
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization throughout the facility
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and proper use of cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Excellent time management skills
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout a shift
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation to and from work for evening shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- WHMIS certification preferred
- Flexibility to work evenings and occasional weekends
- Strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment
