Chromatography Laboratory Technician

Role Summary

We are looking to fill 2 vacancies in the chromatography laboratory, in the area of Gas Chromatography-Mass and Liquid Chromatography-Mass, in the CASTELLÓN work center.

The tasks to be carried out will be the following:

• Analysis by Gas Chromatography/Liquid Chromatography-Mass/Mass Spectrometry, in environmental samples, within an environment regulated by the UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
• Calibration, equipment maintenance and problem resolution.
• Optimization of analytical methods.
• Quality assurance and evaluation.

Requirements

• We are looking for a graduate in Chemistry or other scientific disciplines, with experience in Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry. Management of data processing software for chromatographic data and maintenance of GC-MS and HPLC-MS equipment.
• Good level of English and knowledge of the UNE-EN ISO 17025 standard is valuable.
• Organized, meticulous person with a high capacity to work as a team.
