Role Summary
Child Caregiver – Lampasas, TX
A family in Lampasas, TX 76550 is seeking a regular, long-term caregiver to help care for their 12 year old son. The family is looking for a dependable and nurturing individual to assist with daily care and support.
Family Specifications
- Smoke-free home
- 2 dogs in the home
Responsibilities
- Help as a tutor and be mentally engaging
- Willing to do feeding both orally and through G-tube
- Help him with at-home therapy homework, such as practicing use of talking device.
- Transport child to and from appointments as needed in a family vehicle (driving would be very rare, if at all)
- Provide support to nurse as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience a plus
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications required. Family is willing to cover the cost of certification prior to employment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
