Chemical Analyst

Role Summary

You ensure that our analyzes are correct and that food and animal feed are safe. In this role you work with different techniques and samples, so no day is the same. You perform analyses, process results and keep an overview when a lot is happening at the same time. You work accurately, think about improvements and immediately see the effect of your work on the quality of our services.

What are you going to do?

You perform (semi-) routine chemical analyzes on foodstuffs, animal feed, oils, fats and raw materials. You process analysis results and ensure that the quality meets the ISO17025 standard. Together with your colleagues you are responsible for equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, validations and maintaining the quality system. You actively think about process optimization, for example shortening lead times or resolving deviations. Sometimes you handle urgent requests, so it is important that you can respond quickly. You work with techniques such as LC/MS, GC/MS, gravimetry, Elisa and titration.

A completed secondary vocational education (MLO) in the field of chemistry.

You work accurately, efficiently and according to guidelines.

You are proactive, results-oriented and maintain an overview.

You enjoy working in a team and communicate clearly.

You are looking for a job for 32–40 hours with career opportunities.
