Role Summary
As a Chemical Analyst in the laboratory you are responsible for carrying out and checking various chemical analyses. You work accurately according to regulations and ensure that the quality of our analyzes is guaranteed.
Your activities include
- Carrying out analyzes according to established procedures;
- Interpreting physical and chemical analyzes and associated data;
- Carrying out first-line checks and taking action where necessary;
- Supporting maintenance, calibrations and checks of equipment;
- Maintaining instrument logs;
Correctly process and archive analysis results.

Requirements
- You have an MLO diploma level 4 or higher;
- You have experience in a chemical laboratory;
- You have experience working with acids and chemicals;
- You master the Dutch and English language;
You work accurately, independently and are a real team player.

- You work in a 2-shift system
- 06:00 to 14:30
2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
In addition, you are willing to work occasional weekend shifts.

At SGS we analyze minerals, ores, metals and concentrates every day for customers from all over the world. Our large Minerals lab in Spijkenisse consists of 5 specialized laboratories, each with their own expertise.
