CDI Specialist at Infinx in United States.

Responsibilities

Assess, design, and implement CDI programs at inpatient facilities

  • Partner with physicians, HIM teams, and clinical staff to drive documentation accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with our internal revenue cycle team to identify opportunities for DRG optimization, reduce under-coding, and maximize appropriate inpatient reimbursement
  • Work directly with our engineering team to translate CDI and DRG workflow expertise into product requirements, test features, and shape the roadmap of our proprietary CDI tool
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 3+ years of CDI experience in an inpatient acute care setting
  • CCDS, CDIP, or equivalent certification preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of MS-DRG and APR-DRG methodology
  • Experience presenting to and educating physician and clinical audiences
  • Ability to translate clinical domain expertise in practical product feedback
  • Prior consulting or multi-facility experience is a strong plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Take initiative to complete tasks rapidly and accurately
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel to client sites (10-15%)

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Documentation Integrity Consultant to join our team and make a measurable impact, both for the hospital clients we serve and for the revenue cycle solutions we build.
