Category Sr Analyst

Role Summary

Analyze the performance of the categories (sell-in, sell-out, market share, profitability, rotation, DOH, etc.).

Develop data-based insights to identify opportunities for growth and optimization of assortment, prices and promotions.

Propose and implement category strategies (supplier segmentation, clusters).

Provide support to innovation initiatives or launches, validating their viability from a category and channel perspective.

Prepare reports for decision making (internal and external).

Lead or support shopper insights and purchasing behavior projects.

Participate in business review processes with key suppliers (category reviews, performance reviews of commercial dynamics, etc.).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in category analysis in mass consumption, trade marketing, business intelligence or commercial areas.
• Mastery of analysis tools (Excel or Google sheets, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Ability to interpret data and convert it into clear, actionable strategies.
