As a Technical Engineer (m/f/d), you support our customers and sales teams with in-depth technical expertise on industrial lubricants and their applications. With your specialist knowledge, you will develop innovative solutions together with customers and internal stakeholders, create sustainable added value and actively contribute to Castrol's business success.
- Your new task environment – safe, demanding and future-oriented:
- Actively demonstrate security awareness and ensure compliance with high HSSE standards
- Establishing and maintaining sustainable customer relationships as well as providing technical advice to customers on site
- Providing technical support to internal and external stakeholders as an expert in industrial lubricant applications
- Supporting sales teams in acquiring new business and expanding existing customer relationships
- Development of economical and practical solutions for complex customer requirements together with sales
- Conception and implementation of technical training for internal and external stakeholders
- Close collaboration with technology and marketing to further develop products and services
- Carrying out and evaluating field tests with new and optimized lubricants
- Documenting and sharing best practices and creating technical case studies
- Analysis and evaluation of used oil analyzes to support technical decisions
- Support of strategic projects to implement the Castrol industrial strategy
- Professional support and further development of less experienced colleagues through mentoring and coaching
- Represent Castrol in technical networks, associations, working groups and, if necessary, at universities

Requirements
Your qualification profile – well-founded and passionate
Completed degree in engineering or a comparable qualification, for example in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, lubricant technology, manufacturing technology or a related field
- At least three years of professional experience in an industrial environment
- In-depth knowledge of metalworking fluids and high-performance lubricants as well as their application
- Good understanding of tribology and the technical principles of lubricants
- Strong skills in technical customer advice and value selling
- Experience in using Microsoft Office, CRM systems such as Salesforce and other relevant tools
- Structured and solution-oriented way of working on complex technical issues
- Knowledge in the areas of sustainability, energy efficiency and resource conservation is an advantage
- High communication skills and confident demeanor towards customers and internal stakeholders
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
