Role Summary

Park Management Couple | Tom Price Tourist Park

Tom Price, WA | Full-Time | Immediate Start Available

Live and work in the breathtaking Pilbara region!

Summerstar Tourist Parks is seeking an experienced Park Manager Couple to take on full-time management roles at

Tom Price Tourist Park, Western Australia.

This is a unique opportunity to run one of our largest parks, set against the stunning backdrop of Karijini National Park.

As Park Managers, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the park, supported by the wider Summerstar Tourist Park s team.

An

immediate start is available

for the right management couple.

While you’ll work closely together as a team, responsibilities are generally divided across two key areas:

  1. Grounds & Maintenance

One member of the couple will generally take the lead across the practical operation, maintenance and presentation of the park, including: overseeing the grounds, gardens and overall presentation of the property;

coordinating preventative and reactive maintenance;

completing general repairs and hands-on maintenance where appropriate;

maintaining accommodation, amenities, sites and common areas;

managing gardening, reticulation and grounds upkeep;

monitoring plant, equipment and park infrastructure;

coordinating and supervising contractors and trades;

maintaining appropriate workplace health and safety standards;

identifying maintenance priorities and managing works within operational requirements;

assisting guests with practical or site-related enquiries; and supporting the wider park team wherever required during busy periods.

A practical, organised person who enjoys problem-solving, working outdoors and taking pride in the presentation of the property will suit this side of the role.

  1. Office Administration & Housekeeping

The other member of the couple will generally take the lead across reception, administration, guest services and housekeeping, including: overseeing reception, reservations, check-ins and check-outs;

providing friendly and professional customer service;

responding to guest enquiries and resolving day-to-day issues;

managing bookings, payments and general office administration;

supervising and supporting reception and housekeeping team members;

coordinating housekeeping schedules and accommodation turnaround;

ensuring cabins, amenities and guest areas are maintained to a high standard;

managing staff rosters and day-to-day team coordination;

assisting with recruitment, onboarding and performance management;

maintaining accurate records and completing required reporting;

supporting stock control, purchasing and supplier relationships; and monitoring guest feedback and identifying opportunities to improve the guest experience.

Strong organisation, people skills, attention to detail and confidence using computer-based systems will be important in this part of the role.

Working together

Although responsibilities are divided, successful park management is very much a team effort

.
