Calculation and Certification Engineer (M/F)

Role Summary

We are looking for an Engineer in Structural Calculation and Certification for multi-aircraft manufacturer aeronautical activities. As part of the development and validation of mechanical installations on the exterior fuselage, you will help to guarantee the certifiability of the proposed concepts.

Your mission will consist of carrying out technical analyses, structural calculations and writing the justification and certification reports necessary to validate the implemented solutions.

• Structural analyzes and calculations
• Carry out static, fatigue and damage tolerance analyzes to assess the resistance of mechanical installations and fuselage structures
• Post-process the results obtained by the finite element method to extract technical conclusions
• Develop or adapt calculation files to automate and optimize analyzes
• Writing technical reports
• Write justification reports detailing the analyzes carried out and the results obtained
• Prepare certification files in collaboration with technical teams and competent authorities
• Collaboration and Technical Support
• Work closely with the design and integration teams to validate the technical feasibility of the installations
• Propose improvements or alternative solutions in the event of non-compliance
• Participate in technical reviews to present results and recommendations

Requirements

• Training and experiences
• Engineering diploma or equivalent (Bac+5) in mechanics
• Significant experience in structural calculations, ideally in the aeronautical sector
• Knowledge of finite element analysis methods (software such as NASTRAN, FEMAP)

Technical skills

• Mastery of calculation and simulation tools
• Knowledge of aeronautical standards (EASA, FAA) and certification processes
• Personal qualities
• Rigor and precision in carrying out calculations and writing reports
• Spirit of analysis and synthesis to propose adapted solutions
• Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly with the different project stakeholders
• Autonomy and proactivity to carry out the assigned missions
