Role Summary
Responsible for leading and directing all operations related to maintenance, facility management and associated services, ensuring the optimal, safe and efficient operation of the plant's real estate and technical assets. His role is both strategic and operational, coordinating teams, projects, suppliers and budgets to align facilities with corporate objectives and ensure business continuity.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and supervise the comprehensive facilities maintenance and management strategy aligned with the vision and objectives of the plant and corporate.
- Plan, manage and optimize maintenance budgets, including CAPEX and OPEX.
- Evaluate, approve and monitor investment projects in infrastructure and equipment.
- Lead and coordinate the maintenance and facilities team, including supervisors, coordinators and technicians, promoting talent development and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Supervise the execution of preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance programs, guaranteeing efficiency and compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, industrial safety and occupational health regulations in all facility operations.
- Manage contracts, negotiations and relationships with suppliers and external service companies, seeking cost and quality optimization.
- Coordinate and lead strategic projects to improve, remodel, expand and modernize plant facilities.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure efficiency, quality and effectiveness of the area.
- Evaluate operational and strategic risks, developing contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with other areas of the company to align facilities management with operational and strategic needs.
- Prepare and present management reports on performance, financial results and projects to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management or related field.
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in facility or building maintenance management, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- At least 5 years in a management or leadership role supervising maintenance teams and external contractors.
- Extensive knowledge in preventive and corrective maintenance, building systems, public services, infrastructure and facility operation.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and continuous improvement projects.
