Role Summary
As a specialist for BPS/Lean and industrial engineering, you are responsible for the further development of the BPS and industrial engineering maturity level in our plants.
You work closely with the Value Stream teams to systematically analyze value streams and drive the continuous improvement of production and value creation processes according to lean principles.
In close collaboration with the industrial engineers in our plants, you will develop the I.E. maturity level and the skills on site. You are also responsible for analyzing and optimizing production data in order to sustainably increase efficiency, quality and profitability.
The main tasks include
- Implementation and further development of lean methods (e.g. BPS, Kaizen, value stream analysis, 5S, standard work)
- Carrying out industrial engineering analyzes (time studies, layout planning, capacity and ergonomics analyzes)
- Measurement, analysis and visualization of key figures for sustainable goal achievement
- Control and implementation of improvement projects in collaboration with production, engineering and management
- Accompanying change processes and actively promoting the lean culture in the plant
- Training and coaching of employees and managers in Lean and IE methods
- Approximately 50% willingness to travel is required for this position
Requirements
Education: A completed university degree (bachelor's degree or higher) in engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable field of study; Alternatively, completed technical training, supplemented by sound business knowledge.
Experience & Know-How: Comprehensive knowledge of BPS/Lean Management, industrial engineering and production systems, confident application of methods such as process analysis, time management and value stream design, experienced handling of KPIs and problem-solving methods (e.g. PDCA, A3), good user knowledge of MS Office and SAP, ideally also with analysis or planning tools.
Personality and way of working: Analytical, structured and solution-oriented thinking skills with high implementation skills, ability to communicate complex issues in an understandable manner, coupled with moderation and project management skills, communicative skills for target group-oriented and convincing communication at all levels of the organization
Languages: Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
