Role Summary

Drive business growth through proactive customer acquisition, market expansion and revenue generation within the strict framework of QIMA processes, accreditation requirements and compliance standards. The Business Development Manager must combine strong sales skills with the discipline to follow established workflows, ensuring that each step of the sales process is aligned with company and regulatory procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Business development and sales growth
  • Identify and develop your own client portfolio and territory, building and maintaining solid, long-term relationships.
  • Create and deliver effective proposal presentations and RFP responses that identify a potential prospect's business challenges and their effects.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities to expand QIMA's reach and profitability.
  • Qualify and convert leads from marketing campaigns into viable sales opportunities.
  • Carry out negotiations to secure commercially sound and profitable agreements.
  • Achieves sales revenue objectives in a defined sales territory.
  • Deliver measurable results that drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Customer engagement and meetings
  • Initiate contact with potential clients through cold calling, emails, and other outreach methods.
  • Organize and conduct meetings (virtual or in-person) with potential and existing clients.
  • Conduct on-site visits when necessary to potential clients or existing clients.
  • Represent QIMA at industry events, conferences, trade shows and exhibitions when requested.
  • Effectively present QIMA's services and value proposition to potential clients.
  • Diligently follow up on each audit, inquiry or concern.
  • Respond verbally to customer queries within one business day and confirm through written communication.
  • Collaboration and coordination
  • Work closely with all departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing for targeted campaigns and participate in relevant events.
  • Actively contribute in sales meetings with market feedback and growth proposals.
  • Manage company resources responsibly in all business activities.
  • Market intelligence and strategic planning
  • Research, analyze and monitor market trends to develop and implement a strategic sales plan for your territory.
  • Stay up to date on new products, services, pricing models and payment plans.
  • Preserve and enhance QIMA's brand image in all customer interactions.
  • Attend technical training and seminars to strengthen knowledge about food certification services.
  • Process compliance
  • Strictly follow QIMA's internal processes and sales procedures, including Quality Department standards and certification workflows defined by accreditation and regulatory requirements.
  • Deviations or unauthorized modifications to the established sales process are not permitted.
  • Ensure that all communications, proposals, agreements and commitments with clients are fully aligned with company policies and accreditation compliance obligations.
  • Work in full compliance with QIMA's ethical, legal and quality standards at all stages of sales and customer engagement.

CRM Management

  • Accurately record, update and maintain all sales activities in Zoho CRM, including lead qualification, opportunity management and customer interactions.
  • Document all follow-ups, promotion actions and participation updates without exception.
  • Use CRM as the single source of truth for sales activity and performance tracking.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry into all platforms required for the position.
