A new Azure AI & Copilot Unit is being created at WorkSimple, which focuses on the practical implementation of modern AI solutions in the Microsoft ecosystem. Our goal is to use artificial intelligence specifically to improve real processes. We rely on a pragmatic, user-centered approach: We observe processes directly in the users' working environment, identify optimization potential and develop concrete solutions from this.

As an Azure AI / Copilot Engineer & Consultant, you work at the interface of cloud engineering, AI integration and process understanding. You will develop, integrate and operate Azure AI and Copilot solutions that create measurable benefits for our customers, while at the same time actively shaping the development of this new department.

In detail this means

Development and implementation of Azure AI and Copilot solutions based on Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, AI Search and Copilot Studio• Technical integration of Copilot Studio into Microsoft 365, Power Platform or customer-specific applications

Building RAG scenarios, knowledge bases and AI workflows to use company data in chatbots or digital assistants

Development of Azure Functions, Logic Apps, APIs and automations to connect external systems

Developing MVPs and quick-win solutions that quickly create real added value

You are a technology-savvy problem solver with an understanding of business processes and enthusiasm for artificial intelligence. You don't just want to advise, you want to develop working solutions and actively shape how WorkSimple uses AI in medium-sized businesses.

This is what you bring with you

Several years of experience in development with Microsoft Azure / M365

Knowledge of Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services or Copilot Studio

Programming knowledge in Python, C# or TypeScript

Understanding of AI architectures, data flows, RAG concepts and generative AI

Interested in LLMs, prompt engineering and the integration of company-specific knowledge into AI systems

Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical content clearly and practically

Certifications such as AI-102, AZ-204, AZ-305 or PL-400 are an advantage

Very good knowledge of German (C1)

I'm Robin and have been part of WorkSimple for five years and am responsible for building our new Azure AI & Copilot department. We are a small, experienced team that enjoys tackling things and trying out new things. Our customer base is there, there are many interesting projects. What we still need is someone who will help drive the technical implementation and gain experience together with us.
