Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced licensed structural engineer who, in addition to independently designing structures, can also lead a smaller team of structural structural engineers and geotechnicians. If you have strong technical expertise, can take responsibility for static project solutions and at the same time enjoy developing the people around you, this position will fit you like a glove.
Languages
English mandatory - at a level to be able to conduct constructive and technical dialogues with colleagues/clients from abroad
German - an advantage
Responsibilities
What you will be responsible for
- Static design and assessment of load-bearing structures of earthworks
- Responsibility for the static part of the project documentation at all levels
- Management and professional guidance of the team of structural engineers - assignment of tasks, control of outputs, mentoring
- Cooperation with architects, professional designers and project managers
- Checking the compliance of solutions with norms, legislation and technical standards
- Design of optimal technical solutions with regard to feasibility, costs and schedule
- Author's supervision during construction implementation and solving technical questions on the construction site
- Responsibility for the quality, accuracy and technical level of static outputs
Requirements
- SKSI authorization in the field of statics and dynamics of buildings
- Demonstrable experience in the static design of earthworks
- Experience in managing people or natural leadership potential
- Excellent knowledge of Eurocodes, technical standards and modern calculation tools
- Ability to make independent decisions, solve technical problems and take responsibility for solutions
- Communication skills necessary for cooperation with the project team and the client
- Experience with BIM, advanced calculation software or complex construction is an advantage
