ATEX / IECEX Expert

Role Summary

We are looking for an ATEX /IECEX expert in Otaniemi, Espoo to strengthen our expert team. You get to work in a real vantage point of the electrical and electronics industry, where expert work related to the safety, quality and market access of various electrotechnical products is performed. We offer the opportunity to delve into versatile testing and certification projects and develop as a professional in the field.

Task content

In this job, you test and evaluate the safety of equipment in potentially explosive atmospheres as part of an international laboratory network. We offer the opportunity to learn about versatile customer projects with international industry players. The job also offers the opportunity to qualify as a factory inspector and auditor, which gives you the opportunity to evaluate the operations of different companies on site in Finland, Europe and Asia.

Requirements

• We expect from you
• Technical education suitable for the position, e.g. engineer or DI
• Experience in electronics design or manufacturing
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to understand and adopt standards
• Professional Finnish and English language skills
• We also value competence and previous experience in one of the following areas
• ATEX/IECEx product experience
• Testing or certification background
• Familiarity with IEC 61010 or other safety standards
• Experience of working in a notified institution or an accredited laboratory
• Knowledge of the quality management system (ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025/17065)
