Responsibilities

What are you going to do

• A new challenge every day: No day is the same at JYSK! As an Assistant Manager you play an important role in running the store. You ensure that everything runs smoothly in a dynamic environment.
• A lot of responsibility: You have the freedom to make improvements and exert influence to optimize the shopping process. You ensure that everything runs smoothly and that the customer has a top experience! You start every day with a short team meeting, after which everyone takes on their own responsibilities.
• Making customers happy: You are the face of JYSK for our customers and ensure a great shopping experience. From advising customers to ensuring that they leave the store with a smile. 😁
• Teamwork and good vibes: At JYSK we work hard, but we also have fun! You work with a great team to achieve goals and celebrate successes, where you are responsible for providing training to your team.🎉
• Contribute to innovation and fun: We are always up-to-date with new technology. Working at JYSK means participating in the latest tools and systems to help the customer even better. You learn quickly, come up with ideas and keep up with the changes in the retail world. 🚀

Requirements

• You have an MBO work/thinking level 🎓
• You have at least 1 year of work experience in Retail 🛒
• Experience with leadership? Top! Whether it concerns coaching colleagues or having conversations about, for example, absenteeism and performance, knowing how to manage people is an advantage
• You speak and write Dutch fluently and have some knowledge of the English language.
• Flexibility is key for you
• You are results-oriented, social and enjoy a dynamic environment.
