Assistant Engineer on fixed-term contract

Role Summary

Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, the Assistant Engineer contributes to the smooth running of the laboratory and the quality of technical services.

Requirements

• Bac +2 to Bac +3 level training (DUT/BUT, Professional license, BTS) in chemistry, physics, biology, physical measurements or related field.
• Desired experience in a laboratory environment or technical support.
• Knowledge of quality standards (ISO 17025) and good laboratory practices.
• Rigor, organizational skills, team spirit and ability to communicate effectively.
• Mastery of office tools and technical data management software.

Your missions will revolve around the following axes

Technical validation of analysis results, ensuring their compliance with current standards, application guides and operating procedures.

Technical support for internal teams to guarantee the correct application of methods and the reliability of results.

Monitoring customer requests, from reception to closing, ensuring traceability and quality of service provided.

Answers to technical questions from internal and external customers, providing clear and reasoned explanations.

Participation in technological and standards monitoring, in cooperation with the quality department and technical functions.

Contribution to the review and improvement of operating methods, with a view to continuous improvement.

Control of the conformity of equipment and methods according to quality and safety requirements.
