Architecte Kubernetes - Aeroline - Toulouse

Role Summary

You integrate Aeroline as a Kubernetes / Java / Python Architect.

Sopra Steria's Aeroline vertical brings together nearly 1,100 employees in France, in teams spread across the entire country. It supports major players in aeronautics, space and air traffic on strategic projects: modernization of critical systems, data and AI, cloud, cybersecurity, on-board systems and sustainable aviation. The teams work on complex and innovative programs, at the heart of performance, security and sovereignty issues.

Your role and missions

You design and evolve distributed cloud and microservices architectures for critical systems in the aeronautics sector.

You define, implement and industrialize Kubernetes platforms (orchestration, scaling, high availability) relying on containerization (Docker, etc.).

You contribute to backend development in Java (Spring) and Python, ensuring the quality, robustness and maintainability of services.

You implement and implement DevOps practices: CI/CD, deployment automation, continuous integration and testing, environment management.

You design and deploy cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP) based on Infrastructure as Code, and you manage the security, monitoring and performance aspects.

You support the project teams (development, operations, security) and define the technical standards, best practices and architectural patterns to apply.

Requirements

• You have proven expertise in Kubernetes and containerization (Docker), and you master the implementation of scalable and resilient environments.
• You are proficient in backend development in Java (Spring) and Python, and you are comfortable with good software design practices (testing, clean code, APIs, etc.).
• You implement DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, configuration management) and you know the main public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) as well as Infrastructure as Code.
• You are recognized for your ability to manage security, monitoring and performance issues, and for your ability to support teams and define shared technical standards.
• Curious, rigorous and solution-oriented, you want to learn, share and have a concrete impact on projects with high added value; a good command of English is a plus depending on the project.
• You have at least 5 years of experience in the design of distributed architectures, microservices and/or cloud platforms in a demanding application context.
