Role Summary

With an apprenticeship as a draftsman at AFRY Schweiz AG, you can set the course for your professional future. We offer you varied and demanding training in the exciting world of an engineering company.

Over the course of four years, you will gain interesting insights into various areas of construction as well as the new digital working methods and complete your apprenticeship with a federal certificate of competency.

As of August 2027 we have a vacant apprenticeship position at our branch in Brig:

DRAWER:IN SPECIALIZING IN ENGINEERING EFZ - BRIG

• During the training you will learn, among other things, the following activities:
• Creation of plans in 2D and 3D in civil engineering (including public buildings, residential buildings, earthquake reinforcements, industrial buildings)
• Creation of plans in 2D and 3D in civil engineering (railway construction, road construction, bridge construction, infrastructure construction)
• Collaborate with civil engineers and assist with construction inspections
• Construction site internship of at least 2 weeks, at the earliest in the 4th semester
• For the apprenticeship you should preferably have the following profile:
• Completed orientation school (level I or very good level II)
• Interests/strengths in geometry, mathematics and physics
• Enjoyment of technical drawing and precise work
• Good spatial imagination
• Motivation for construction and working on laptop

We offer an exciting and versatile apprenticeship in the center of Brig (5 minutes' walk from the train station) with modern employment conditions in a collegial and helpful team.
