Role Summary

In this versatile and responsible position, you will take on a central role in the analytical support of an international pharmaceutical project. Your core tasks include:

Support in project and resource planning of all analytical activities at the site in close cooperation with the local project manager and the local team.

Independent coordination, implementation and documentation of method transfers, method developments, validations and verifications of sophisticated analytical procedures (e.g. HPLC, AAS, KF) - both internally and with external laboratory partners.

Independent execution of analytical tests including preparation of protocols and reports in accordance with GMP and internal quality standards.

Assessment of existing methods with regard to practical suitability, regulatory requirements (EU/US GMP) and validation status; If necessary, further development and renewed validation.

Independent solution of methodological and device-specific questions – supported by the expert network of a global company.

Identification of optimization potential with regard to method modernization, robustness and efficiency.

Participate in the review and control of laboratory records, plans and reports from other ATS projects as well as the preparation of specification documents.

Preparation of analytical documents in preparation for regulatory submissions.

Support multiple analytical transfer activities in parallel.

Requirements

For this varied and responsible position we are looking for someone with:

  • Completed studies in the field of chemical engineering, analytics or training as a chemical laboratory technician or comparable qualification.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in the application, interpretation and validation of pharmaceutical methods under GMP (e.g. chromatography, spectroscopy, physicochemical tests).
  • Confident use of analysis software in a GMP environment, ideally Waters Empower.
  • Independent, structured and proactive way of working as well as the ability to set priorities and make decisions.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, persuasiveness and assertiveness.
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English.
  • High flexibility, resilience and willingness to get involved in a dynamic project environment.
