Role Summary

Are you flexible, energetic and looking for a job full of variety?

Then this position is really something for you! In this versatile role you work in two different departments. You help where the crowds are greatest. One day you are in the Fire Assay lab, the next day you work in the PREP department. Flexibility is essential, because we work in a production environment with continuously changing priorities.

In the Fire Assay laboratory

  • Accurate weighing of samples (starting task);
  • Carrying out Fire Assay analyzes in the long term (if functioning properly);
  • Checking data and reporting deviations;
  • Accurate archiving of measurement results;

Working according to strict safety, environmental and quality regulations.

In the preparation department (PREP)

  • Filling samples for the lab (starting task);
  • Working with machines that prepare samples for analysis;
  • Carrying out quality and process checks;
  • Participate in the maintenance of equipment;

Working together with colleagues in a close-knit team.

Requirements

Important to know: Due to the nature of the work in the Fire Assay department, which involves working with lead, current occupational health and safety guidelines do not allow women to work in this department. This is to protect health, especially in connection with reproductive risks of lead exposure. Therefore, this position is only available to male candidates.

  • You have at least an MBO working and thinking level;
  • Experience in a laboratory or production environment is an advantage, but not a requirement, we will train you;
  • You work accurately, independently and have an eye for detail;
  • You are physically fit and can lift monsters of 20–25 kg;
  • You speak Dutch well and/or English is important, because many colleagues speak English and our systems are largely in English;

You are flexible and willing to work in 2 shifts (in the future).
