Role Summary

We offer you

A challenging full-time job (40 hours) as an inspector. You have flexible working hours and work independently to serve your customers as best and correctly as possible.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out sampling and inspections on various agricultural products and foodstuffs (e.g. grains, vegetable oils or cocoa) in the port of Rotterdam and Amsterdam
• You visit various SGS customers on site. The locations are usually located in the vicinity of the port of Rotterdam and Amsterdam
• Contribute to the quality assurance of goods by carrying out qualitative checks. You also provide the necessary reporting in this regard.

Requirements

What are you bringing?

• MBO-3 or 4 diploma, preferably in the field of agriculture, logistics or maritime
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably as an Inspector
• Flexible in working hours and days (shifts and from time to time presence on weekends or in the evening can be expected)
• Able to work both independently and in groups and attaches great importance to safety and accuracy.
• Enthusiastic and motivated person who likes to roll up his sleeves and delve into new matters.
• No fear of heights or color blindness.
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
