Role Summary
Your mission: guarantee the airworthiness and conformity of future aeronautical systems
At the heart of aeronautical programs and in close collaboration with engineering experts, you play a key role in obtaining certifications that allow products to take flight safely. A true interface between the technical and quality teams and the certification authorities, you contribute to the compliance of innovative technologies meeting the highest standards of the aeronautical industry.
Responsibilities
As such, you will be required to
- ✈️ Manage and prepare certification strategies for aeronautical equipment and systems throughout their development cycle;
- ✈️ Decipher and interpret aeronautical regulatory requirements (EASA, FAA, applicable standards) in order to guarantee their integration into projects;
- ✈️ Coordinate interactions between engineering, quality teams and certification authorities, ensuring fluid and effective communication;
- ✈️ Ensure technical compliance of the solutions developed, ensuring compliance with airworthiness standards and regulatory requirements;
- ✈️ Monitor certification plans and compliance demonstrations, from defining milestones to final validation;
- ✈️ Participate in technical reviews, inspections and audits, thus contributing to the success of aeronautical programs;
- ✈️ Identify, analyze and manage the resolution of compliance gaps, by implementing appropriate corrective actions;
- ✈️ Build and consolidate certification files, documents essential for the approval of products by the authorities;
✈️ Ensure monitoring and reporting of certification activities, providing clear visibility on progress and associated risks.
Requirements
- Graduate of an engineering school or a Master Bac+5.
- First experience in certification, airworthiness, aeronautical quality, systems engineering or compliance management.
- Knowledge of the aeronautical regulatory environment.
- Professional English essential.
