Role Summary
What will you do as an account manager?
Expand customer relationships and grow commercially! As an account manager you manage a portfolio of customers in a specific sector, such as healthcare or local governments. You are the point of contact for your customers and help them get more value from our software. You spot commercial opportunities, ensure timely contract extensions and actively work on upsell and cross-sell.
As an account manager you are a relationship manager, advisor and deal closer in one. You plan several customer appointments per week, at least half of which are on location, and hold discussions about strategy, roadmaps and optimizations. You will work closely with colleagues from customer success management, product and marketing to realize long-term customer value.
Where do you end up?
You are part of a sector-oriented account team, for example in education, local governments or healthcare. Within that team you work together with colleagues from sales, customer success and consultancy
During your first months you will get a flying start with an onboarding process, in which you will get to know our software, market and customers well. You will soon be managing your own customer portfolio and working towards measurable results such as:
A high renewal rate of contracts.
Structural revenue growth through upsell and consultancy deals.
Accurate forecasting of your sales pipeline.
Account plans for strategic customers.

Requirements
- Are you our new account manager?
- You have completed a higher vocational or university education.
- You have at least 3 years of experience in a commercial B2B role, preferably in SaaS.
- You have demonstrable experience in managing and growing a customer portfolio.
- You are commercially sharp, think in terms of customer value and results.
- You work in a structured way and take ownership of your forecast and targets.
- You know how to sell and negotiate strategically.
- You speak and write fluently Dutch and English.
- You get energy from customer contact and valuable conversations.
- You continue to develop yourself and always look for ways to improve.
