Accountant / Financial Accountant (m/f/d) - Bexbach | Full time

Role Summary

Do you think in terms of accounts, not compromises? Then actively shape the financial accounting of an international niche world market leader.

Responsibilities

• Independent processing of the ongoing financial accounting of national and international companies
• Booking of all business transactions in general, accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting (Navision/Business Central/DATEV)
• Support with monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB
• Account reconciliations and clarification of accounting discrepancies
• Provision and accrual postings as well as asset accounting including depreciation runs
• Intercompany coordination and participation in reporting documents
• Support with sales tax issues and reports
• Support with payroll accounting, especially a. Maintenance of personnel master data
• Further development of processes in financial accounting
• Contact person for auditors and tax advisors

Requirements

• Completed commercial training, ideally with further training as an accountant (IHK) or comparable qualification
• Professional experience in the field of financial accounting
• Good knowledge of ongoing accounting
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English

Nice to have

• Experience with monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB
• Knowledge of MS Navision/Business Central and DATEV accounting
• Good knowledge of commercial law (HGB) and German sales tax law
• Initial experience in payroll accounting / personnel master data maintenance
• Good MS Office skills
