Role Summary
The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for verifying and processing supplier invoices. He must enter and maintain information in the company's accounting system to ensure accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for bookkeeping, including maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting daily accounting operations such as accounts payable and reconciliations.
- Process invoices in compliance with financial policies, procedures and reporting deadlines.
- Process and verify supplier invoices against purchase orders in the SAP VIM system.
- Enter approved supporting documents into the computer system.
- Contribute to the resolution of irregularities and anomalies relating to invoices.
- Maintain supplier master data information in the accounting system for new additions or changes.
- Additional tasks as needed
Requirements
- Education: College diploma in accounting or equivalent experience (DEP, AEC or DEC in Quebec)
- Bilingual in French and English, but French is not required outside the province of Quebec.
- Working knowledge and experience of ERP systems, particularly SAP, an asset.
