Role Summary

We are looking for a Surveyor and an Engineer to provide specialized technical support in the different stages of construction of High Voltage electrical transmission projects.

The professional will be responsible for executing and controlling the topographic activities required by the work, ensuring the precision and reliability of the surveys, layouts and geometric verifications necessary for the correct execution of the works.

Likewise, it must provide permanent technical support to construction and inspection teams, using specialized instrumentation and ensuring that all equipment has its respective calibrations and current certifications.

Main functions

Execute topographic control activities during the different phases of the project.

Carry out topographic surveys, layouts and ground verifications.

Verify alignments, dimensions, levels and location of structures and facilities.

Technically support the Technical Works Inspection (ITO) and construction teams.

Prepare records and reports associated with the topographic work carried out.

Operate and maintain topographic measurement equipment, ensuring its correct functioning.

Ensure that the instrumentation used has current calibrations and certifications.

Coordinate support activities on the ground with the builder.

Guarantee the quality and accuracy of the topographic information used in the execution of the works.

Term 3 - 5 months

Requirements

Academic Training

• Title of Surveyor, Technician in Surveying or equivalent training related to the specialty.
• Minimum experience of 5 years in topographic control activities of High Voltage electrical transmission works.

Technical Knowledge

• Topographic surveys and layout of works.
• Geometric control of electrical infrastructure projects.
• Management of total stations, differential GPS and other topographic equipment.
• Interpretation of engineering plans and topographic coordinates.
• Generation of reports and field records.
• Quality control applied to electrical transmission works.

Required Resources

• Availability of support vehicle for the development of your activities on the ground.
• Availability of support builder for the execution of topographical work.
• Technical instrumentation according to the characteristics of the project.
• Equipment with current calibrations and certifications.
