8437 - Control & Protections and Telecommunications and Scada

Role Summary

We are looking for two ITO Control & Protections and Telecommunications and Scada to integrate into High Voltage electrical transmission projects.

The professional will be responsible for directly supervising and controlling the correct execution of the works on site, verifying compliance with the technical specifications, As Built plans, project procedures and quality standards established by the Principal.

Likewise, it will act as the contractor's technical counterpart in its specialty, leading the inspection activities associated with the installation, testing and commissioning of the control and protection systems, as well as the telecommunications and SCADA systems.

Among its main functions are

Supervise and control the correct execution of the works associated with your specialty.

Verify compliance with technical specifications, procedures, regulations and quality standards of the project.

Review and validate the correct implementation of As Built plans and documentation.

Act as a technical interlocutor with the construction contractor's counterparts.

Direct and coordinate inspection teams during installation and commissioning activities.

Supervise functional tests and start-up protocols for control and protection systems.

Control the correct execution of works associated with telecommunications and SCADA systems.

Detect technical deviations and manage corrective actions to ensure compliance with project objectives.

Prepare technical reports and progress reports related to your specialty.

Minimum experience of 8 years in inspection of High Voltage electrical installations in the corresponding specialty.

Or

Minimum experience of 15 years in inspection of High Voltage electrical installations in the specialty that you will lead.

Technical Knowledge

Control and Protection Systems of electrical substations.

Telecommunications systems for electrical networks.

SCADA platforms and architectures.

Industrial and substation communication protocols.

Functional tests and commissioning of High Voltage electrical systems.

Interpretation of electrical plans, functional diagrams and technical documentation.

Quality management and control of works on site.

Preparation and review of technical documentation and As Built plans.

Requirements

Academic Training

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent profession awarded by an institution recognized and/or validated by the State, with a minimum of 4 years of training.
• Minimum experience of 5 years in inspection of works of High Voltage electrical installations, specifically in the specialty to be led.
