8437 - Civil works and assembly of structures

Role Summary

We are looking for two ITOs Specialist in Civil Works and Assembly of Structures to join construction and expansion projects of High Voltage electrical transmission facilities.

The professional will be responsible for directly supervising, inspecting and controlling the correct execution of the works on site, verifying compliance with the technical specifications, As Built plans, quality standards and requirements established by the Principal.

It will act as a technical counterpart to the construction contractor in its specialty, ensuring the safe and efficient development of civil works, urbanization and electromechanical assembly activities.

Main functions

Supervise and control the execution of assigned works on the ground.

Verify compliance with technical specifications, construction procedures and quality standards.

Review and control As Built plans and technical documentation of the specialty.

Coordinate activities with contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams.

Carry out periodic inspections and issue technical observations when appropriate.

Control the physical progress of the works and report deviations.

Supervise civil works activities, urbanization and assembly of support structures.

Control the assembly of High Voltage equipment, such as:

Transformers and autotransformers.

Reactors.

Power switches.

Disconnectors.

Support structures and associated equipment.

Ensure compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements of the project.

Requirements

Academic training

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent profession, awarded by an institution recognized and/or validated by the State, with a minimum of 4 years of training.
• Minimum experience of 5 years in inspection of works of High Voltage electrical installations, in the specialty he leads.

Alternatively

• Technical title related to the specialty.
• Minimum experience of 8 years in inspection of High Voltage electrical installations in the corresponding discipline (civil works, equipment assembly, structure assembly, conductor laying or other similar).

Alternative career path

Professionals with minimum verifiable experience of 15 years in inspection of High Voltage electrical installations within the required specialty.
