2nd Shift Pressure Test Operator - 1st & 2nd Shift Available at Smiths Group in 93 Lexington Drive Laconia, NEW HAMPSHIRE, United States.

Responsibilities

Performs visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components and finished products.

• Inspect and test components, parts, tube details, and assemblies to validate conformance to blue prints and instructions by customer and to company operating
• Determines appropriate fittings (feeds and caps) to perform the test
• Lifts, positions, connects, disconnects, and removes work pieces from pressure test tank
• Performs testing based on specific PSI and time limits as outlined by our customers to ensure quality standards
• Utilize tank interlocks and all safety mechanisms
• Observe test, inspect for bubble formation, seepage, or water droplets
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Requirements

Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position is responsible for testing manufactured pieces based on specific PSI and time limits as outlined by our customers to ensure quality standards. 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 3:15PM - 1:45AM / $1.00 Shift Differential / 2nd Shift must be able to train on 1st Shift
