Role Summary

Workplace: Antofagasta Region, with field activities in the Plant, Mine and Salar de Ascotán areas.

Plan, control and advise risk prevention activities associated with the service.

Identify, evaluate and control the risks present in environmental monitoring activities.

Promote preventive and corrective actions to avoid work accidents and occupational diseases.

Verify compliance with safety, occupational health and environmental procedures in the field.

Monitor the risk prevention and hygiene and safety program of the contract.

Advise staff on operational safety and risk control matters.

Participate in inspections, observations and preventive control activities in the field.

Ensure compliance with the safety standards established for the service and work.

Manage and keep updated the security documentation required for the execution of activities.

Support the investigation, analysis and monitoring of incidents, deviations and opportunities for improvement in security matters.

Requirements

• We are seeking to incorporate Risk Preventionist for the execution of environmental monitoring services at mining sites.
• Risk Prevention Engineer with current registration or certification from the Health Service.
• Minimum experience of 3 years in risk prevention in mining, industry or similar projects.
• Knowledge in implementation and monitoring of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
• Experience in identification, evaluation and control of operational risks.
• Knowledge of current legal regulations on occupational health and safety.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams).
• Experience in field inspections, preventive observations and incident investigation.
• Class B driver's license with at least 1 year old.
• Ability to advise and promote preventive and corrective actions aimed at risk control.
• Proactive, responsible, analytical person oriented to safe work.
