Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer (Full Automation) to join a strategic project focused on the design, development and implementation of end-to-end automation solutions. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch for services, web and mobile applications, databases and processes, ensuring the quality, scalability and efficiency of technological solutions.

Main activities

Build automation solutions and frameworks from scratch, implementing maintainable, reusable and scalable code.

Define the architecture, standards and good practices of Automation QA.

Automate end-to-end tests in APIs (REST), Web applications (Selenium) and Mobile (Appium).

Prepare and manage data for testing using complex queries in SQL.

Identify manual or repetitive processes and prioritize automation opportunities based on their impact.

Integrate and execute automated test suites within the development cycle and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

Define and track automation metrics such as coverage, flakiness, and execution times.

Generate structured reports on test results.

Analyze and resolve technical problems autonomously, proposing continuous improvements to the QA strategy and processes.

Communicate progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and provide mentoring to junior or semi-senior QAs.

Requirements

• Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or related career.
• Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience in hands-on automation implementing end-to-end solutions.
• Experience in the design, development and maintenance of automation frameworks built from scratch.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Mastery of Web automation (Selenium) and solid experience in Mobile automation (Appium).
• Experience in automating APIs/Services (REST, contract validation, end-to-end testing) using Postman/Newman, RestAssured or similar.
• Proficient in SQL to perform complex queries and prepare/manage data for testing.
• Management of testing frameworks such as TestNG/JUnit, PyTest or Jest/Mocha, as well as reporting tools (Allure, ExtentReports).
• Solid command of Git (version control) and experience integrating automated suites into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Experience working under Agile methodologies.
• Conversational English level B1/B2.
• Analytical profile, technically autonomous and with the ability to provide mentoring to junior/semi-senior QAs.
• It is essential to have a comprehensive automation profile (Full Automation); Candidates focused solely on manual test execution will not be considered.
