Associate Tax Regulatory Compliance Luxembourg Line of Service Tax Industry/Sector Banking and Capital Markets Specialism Banking & Finance Management Level Associate Job ID: 730994WD Job Description & Summary Meet your future team You will join PwC Luxembourg's Tax Financial Services team, working closely with specialists across tax, advisory, audit, and AML. The team supports international financial institutions operating in Luxembourg on complex regulatory and reporting topics through collaborative, cross functional project work. What your role will look like As an Associate, you contribute to regulatory compliance projects that help financial institutions meet international tax transparency obligations. Your work matters because it supports clients in staying compliant while navigating evolving FATCA, CRS, and QI requirements.
- Support banks, funds, and insurance companies in identifying clients and accounts in scope of FATCA, CRS, and QI frameworks
- Contribute to due diligence and testing activities to assess the implementation and effectiveness of regulatory processes
- Analyse client data and documentation to ensure accurate and complete regulatory reporting
- Participate in the preparation of FATCA, CRS, and QI reports submitted to the Luxembourg tax authorities
- Support advisory engagements by documenting processes, identifying gaps, and contributing to practical improvement recommendations
- Collaborate with internal PwC teams (tax, advisory, audit, AML) on multidisciplinary projects involving regulatory compliance Your growth and opportunities You will progressively build technical expertise in international tax transparency regulations while gaining exposure to a broad Financial Services client base. Over time, you will take on increased responsibility in client interactions, analysis, and project delivery within cross border engagements. The skills you bring
- A Master's degree (completed or in progress) in economics or law, with a focus on taxation
- First exposure to tax, legal, or compliance topics through an internship, thesis, or initial professional experience
- Working knowledge of FATCA, CRS, and/or QI concepts, or a strong motivation to develop expertise in these areas
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office; independent use of Excel and PowerPoint
- Language skills: o English: C1 o French: B2 o German: B2 Ways of working
- Analyse information with structure and sound judgment to support well reasoned conclusions
- Work collaboratively with colleagues from different teams to achieve shared project outcomes
